Mika Ronkainen's documentary Finnish Blood, Swedish Heart won three major awards for Best Finnish Documentary (over 30 minutes), the Audience Award from the National Competition and the Risto Jarva Award (ex aequo with Juan Reina's 6954 Kilometres Home) at the 43rd Tampere Film Festival. Ronkainen's film was supported by Nordisk Film & TV Fond won the Dragon award for Best Nordic Documentary in Gothenburg. Finnish Blood, Swedish Heart opens in Sweden on March 22 via Folkets Bio.
