Danish director Eva Mulvad was awarded on Saturday the Danish Film Institute's prestigious DK25,000 Roos documentary film award for her two films: The Good Life and Med døden til følge, both released domestically this year. Mulvad's The Good Life about the financial downfall of a mother and her daughter won the Best Documentary award at Karlovy Vary in July. With Med døden til følge, the director made history as the first person allowed with her crew to film a court case. Mulvad is joint-owner with her filmmaking colleagues Pernille Rose Grønkjær, Phie Ambo, Mikala Krogh and producer Sigrid Dyekjær of the company Danish Documentary Production.
