TrustNordisk has sold Stig Björkman’s feature documentary Ingrid Bergman-In Her Own Words to key territories including Italy (Cinema Srl), Australia (Transmission Films), France (Pretty Pictures), Japan (Tohokushinsha Film Corporation), Taiwan (Momentum), with other deals pending.
The film’s team including voice-over and star actress Alicia Vikander, composer/cinematographer Eva Dahlgren and producer Stina Gardell will be walking the red carpet in Cannes tonight, alongside Ingrid Bergman’s children (Isabella Rossellini, Isotta Ingrid Rossellini, Roberto Rossellini and Pia Lindström) for the film’s world premiere at Cannes Classics. The film produced by Mantaray Film with support among others from Nordisk Film & TV Fond will be released in Sweden by NonStop Entertainment on August 24, 2015.
