Mikael Marcimain's feature film debut Call Girl was handed out the Silver Audience Award from the Stockholm International Film Festival that ended on Sunday. The Best Film award (the Golden Horse) was awarded to Cate Shortland's period drama Lore, Australia's entry for this year's Academy Awards as Best Foreign Language Film. Swedish newcomer Karzan Kader (Nordic Talents winner 2010) received a Special Mention for his debut film Bekas, supported by Nordisk Film & TV Fond. Other up-and-coming Swedish talents awarded in Stockholm include the actress Nermina Lukac (Eat Sleep Die), recipient of the Viasat Film Rising Star 2012, and director Amanda Adolfsson, winner of the SEK5.4 million Stockholm Feature Film Award for her feature length project Young Sophie Bell produced by Breidablick.
