The Norwegian cinema association Film & Kino announced on Monday that their annual Aamot winners are the famous film critics and personalities Per Haddal and Pål Bang-Hansen (photo).
Haddal has been a film critic for the newspaper Aftenposten for over 30 years, from 1978 to February 2009. He has also written books about film legends Ivo Carpino and Liv Ullmann. Bang-Hansen is one of the most popular TV and radio film personalities in Norway. He has also worked as an actor on ten film and TV productions, including Arne Skouen's 1949 Gategutter (Boys from the Streets). As a director, he has filmed six movies such as the 1972 hit comedy Norske byggeklosser. The Aamot Statuette was given last year to cinematographer Harald Gunnar Paalgard.
