In its latest round of support, Nordisk Film & TV Fond has allocated NOK 8.65 million in production support to seven projects.

    Story: The Wait is a movie about love, honesty and longing. Set in the secluded Finnish archipelago, the story and timeless characters are inspired by Nobel Prize nominated author Juhani Aho’s classic novel from 1893. We follow Elli, a woman who undergoes an enormous emotional battle between sense and passion. A visitor from the past triggers a chain of events that will test the choices she makes.

    The film is co-produced by Film i Väst, SVT, with support from the Swedish Film Institute.
    Story: The children’s film is based on the characters and universe of the ‘Eva & Adam’ book series written by Måns Garthon and Johan Unenge. When Adam starts a new school, he meets Eva. Suddenly, everything is different. Eva has just sealed an ‘anti-boy’ pact because boys are all so immature. But nothing is as wonderful and as hard as your first love.

    Story: Director Christoffer Guldbrandsen has had unique access to two of the main actors behind the political campaign that helped Donald Trump secure the US presidential election of 2016: the political strategist and adviser Roger Stone, and the Trump campaign's communications adviser, Michael Caputo. Through these people, the film takes us all the way into the engine room of the media campaign.

    Story: Broadcast explores the very basic building element of modern communication: the photographic image. In the film the directors deconstruct its use, codes and conventions, as well as people’s capability to understand them. They question how to enable media literacy in society with an entertaining approach, using familiar scenes from films, social media and television.

    Story: A few years have passed since we left Erik Bäckström (Rolf Lassgård) in Norrbotten, Sweden. Now with a successful career behind him, Erik is living a comfortable life. He’s enjoying the time on his hands and taking care of his family that now includes his nephew, Peter (Johan Marenius Nordahl), his wife and their daughter. Peter is also settling in his role as a local police officer. All seems well until convicted murderer Joar Särn (Simon J Berger) confesses to a 15-year old murder.

    Story: The series is based on the popular book series written by Martin Widmark, with illustrations from Helena Willis. Each episode is based on a book, so far never adapted for the screens. We follow classmates Jerry and Maya on their crime solving adventures in the small town of Valleby.
