The distinguished jury trio, Henriette Steenstrup, Linus Fremin and Joanna Szymanska , will select the winner(s) for the renewed script award presented by Nordisk Film & TV Fond at GFF TV Drama Vision in late January.

The annual Nordic Series Script Award, succeeding the Nordisk Film & TV Fond Prize, honours exceptional screenwriting in Nordic drama. With a prize of 200,000 NOK, it recognises the main writer(s) of a Nordic drama series that premiered in the previous year, continuing a proud tradition of celebrating outstanding storytelling.

The 2025 jury for the Nordic Series Script Award:

  • Actor and screenwriter Henriette Steenstrup (Norway) Henriette Steenstrup is an award-winning Norwegian actress and comedian who has established herself as a series creator and screenwriter in recent years. She achieved her major breakthrough with the drama series Pørni (Viaplay/Netflix), where she both wrote the script and played the lead role. Currently, Henriette is finalising the new drama series Nepobaby for TV 2, while developing the upcoming drama series Triage.
  • TV Critic and Creative Director at Make Your Mark Linus Fremin (Sweden) Linus Fremin has been recognised as one of Sweden's leading TV critics, regularly showcasing his expertise on Sweden's largest morning show, Morgonstudion, and on other prominent radio platforms such as Sveriges Radio, UR, and Rix FM.
  • CEO & Producer at Shipsboy Joanna Szymanska (Poland) Producer and development executive Joanna Szymańska, an industry activist, holds degrees in Film Studies and Law. She is an alumna of international workshops, including EAVE, ACE, and the Torino Script Lab (Story Editing). With over 15 years of experience, she has produced numerous short films, feature-length fiction films, and international co-productions. Joanna serves as Deputy Chair of the European Film Academy Board, and is a founding member of the Polish Producers Guild.

The five nominees will be revealed in January.

The winners of the Nordic Series Awards will be announced at Göteborg Film Festival’s TV Drama Vision on January 28.
