The user-friendly online guide coproducingwiththenordics.com is available for the international industry.

The annual "Co-producing with the Nordics" brochure is put together by Nordisk Film & TV Fond, in partnership with the Danish Film Institute, the Swedish Film Institute, the Norwegian Film Institute, the Finnish Film Foundation, the Icelandic Film Centre and the Creative Media Desks in Denmark, Iceland, Finland, Norway and Sweden.

In 2022, as part of the Fund’s strategy to promote a sustainable green industry and to enable changes along the year, the printed brochure was replaced by its current website version. The timing of the main update has stayed the same, as the printed version was published at the Berlinale.

The international audio-visual industry can always access the guide on www.coproducingwiththenordics.com, or via the brand new frontpage of the Fund’s website.

The guide includes:

  • A summary of the co-production schemes from the national film institutes/centres/foundations and regional film funds, with key criteria to apply for support and deadlines for 2024
  • Lists of minority co-productions, supported by DFI, SFI, NFI, FFF and IFC, and selection of international productions backed by the Icelandic reimbursement scheme
  • Cash rebates and production incentives in the Nordics
  • Description of Nordisk Film & TV Fond, funding information and a selection of projects supported in 2023
  • Key contacts
  • Creative Europe Media Desks in the Nordics

The guide is updated and ready for Berlinale.
