The Norwegian documentary about pop music sensation Aurora picked up the top award from the Kraków Film Festival’s DocFilmMusic competition section. Stian Servoss and Benjamin Langeland’s first feature collaboration also won the Student Jury award. The film follows the young pop star at a breaking point in her career, as she’s preparing her second album, two years after her debut album sent her on a world tour.

The film produced by Flimmer Film with support from Nordisk Film & TV Fond picked up Best editing and Best cinematography at the 2019 Norwegian Gullruten TV awards.

Once Aurora is screening tomorrow at OsloPix Festival and Saturday at Sheffield Doc Fest. It premiered on NRK on December 9, 2018. Cats & Docs handles world sales.
