More than 300 documentary professionals will discuss co-financing opportunities and the selected projects at the industry event unspooling September 22-24.

Nordisk Panorama Forum will kick-start on Sunday 22 with the Producers Meet Producers event, featuring snappy presentations, co-production insight and round table discussions. Ten US documentary filmmakers - part of a US delegation - will be on hand to meet their Nordic counterparts and all Forum participants will be invited to meet them and discuss US/Nordic ties. The networking with the US delegation is co-organised by the International Documentary Association.

The Forum will also bring a special US decision-maker decision delegation as a collaboration with the Danish Film Institute and support from the Danish Ministry of Culture. Among them are Participant Media, RYOT, POV, tribeca Film Institute and Impact Partners.

Other sessions the same day include a presentation from docu commissioners from the Nordic film institutes, and ’Meet the decision-makers’. The following two days, 24 Nordic documentary projects will be pitched, including the latest films by Simon Lereng Wilmont, Andreas Koefoed, Katrine Philp, Maryam Ebrahimi/Nima Sarvestani, Sigve Endresen/Aslaug Holm and Andrei Nekrasov. Another 21 Observer+ projects will be presented at individual meetings. Other highlights include an Outreach Clinic hosted by campaign organiser Ben Kempas.
