As Nordisk Film & TV Fond’s longtime news editor Annika Pham switches to work as a freelance journalist, the Fund reforms its news reporting from January 2024.
In early October, the Fund’s longtime, London based journalist Annika Pham expressed a wish to focus on freelance work in the future.
From January 2024, she will no longer be the Fund’s full time news editor. The Fund respects her wish and is restructuring its news service.
Liselott Forsman, CEO of Nordisk Film & TV Fond thanks Annika Pham for her extraordinary work: “Annika Pham has been the Fund’s reliable and beloved journalistic voice for fifteen years. In her Fund articles she has combined strong journalistic skills with a vast knowledge of the Nordic industry. Annika will be greatly missed by everyone in the Fund and and by the many readers of our news. As always a change also results in rethinking.”
A new network of professional industry journalists and other experts from the Nordic countries and beyond has been set up. The Fund’s reformed news system with multiple journalistic voices will be introduced in mid January 2024. Instead of having two publishing days as today, there will be one main publishing day on Thursdays. Between the Thursdays, the Fund’s more current topics are to be published instantly any day of the week.
In 2024 the news will be organised and coordinated by the newly appointed Coordinating Editor, Danish Ulrik Bolt Jørgensen, who has a vast experience of strategic and creative work for the Nordic industry.
