The four member jury of the first Nordic TV Prize for Best Script will be headed by producer Lars Blomgren (Filmlance International).

Other jury members comprise Gudrun Giddings, L.A-based Swedish/US producer (G4C Innovation, Capital Entertainment Network), Isabelle Péchou, Drama Consultant France/Denmark (Drama Agency, Copenhagen) and Leena Virtanen, film and TV journalist, Finland.

The script award, endowed with SEK 200,000 (around €20,000) is funded by Nordisk Film & TV Fond. The first Nordisk Film & TV Fond Prize will be given to the scriptwriter(s) of one of five-eight TV dramas selected for the Nordisk ljus: TV-drama section of the Göteborg Film Festival. The award will be handed out on February 2, 2017, during Göteborg’s TV Drama Vision (February 1-2). 

Jury Members
Lars Blomgren - Lars Blomgren is co-founder and Managing Director of Filmlance International, part of the Endemol Shine Group. He is also Chairman for Scripted Exchange, which aims to encourage collaboration across scripted producers, territories and formats within the group. Blomgren has produced or executive produced some 65 titles including the Swedish/ Danish hit Broen/Bron. He played an integral role in the adaptations of the Nordic cross border series for international markets such as UK/French The Tunnel

Gudrun Giddings 
Gudrun Giddings is the CEO and producer at G4C Innovation and co-founded Entertainment Capital Network. Gudrun previously worked as the co-VP of Production at Paradox Entertainment and was Production Director at Davis Films. 

Heavily involved in Scandinavian co-productions, she has helped Finnish publishing house Elina Ahlback Agency secure film adaptations to a handful of literary works such as the children’s book Monster Nanny by Tuutikki Tolonen acquired by Scott Free Productions. She is the U.S. Ambassador for Scandinavian Film Locations and the President and Chair of The Swedish American Chamber of Commerce in Los Angeles.

Isabelle Péchou 
Isabelle Péchou is the founder of The Drama Agency, based in Copenhagen, a consultancy company that sets up mainly Scandinavian fiction co-productions on an international scale. The company also scouts scripted formats and ready-mades. Péchou has a background in acquisition and programming at French pubcaster France Télévisions, and is a teacher at Berlin-based SerialEyes.

Leena Virtanen 
Leena Virtanen is a Helsinki-based journalist, TV and film critic. She worked at the leading daily Helsingin Sanomat 1991–2010 and since then as a freelancer. In the early 90’s she became a great fan of TV drama and considers herself addicted to Nordic Noir.
