Alexandra-Therese Keining’s film about sexual confusion Girls Lost has just been sold by Yellow Affair to Wolf Releasing for the US and Canada.

The Swedish  film produced by Götafilm with support from Nordisk Film & TV Fond had already been snapped up by more than 20 territories such as Australia/New Zealand (Vendetta), Denmark (Filmbazar), Iceland (Bioparadis), Germany (Salzgeber), UK (Peccadillo), Spain (Surtsey) and Poland (Solopan). It is currently playing in Sweden via Folkets Bio. 

Girls Lost will also take part in a unique simultaneous screening in 30 cities around the world  through the European Film Academy’s Young Audience Award ceremony scheduled for May 8. The film will screen with two other European film candidates in front of an audience of 12-14 years-old and the winner will be announced via a video conference in Erfurt (Germany). The awards ceremony will be streamed live on yaa.europeanfilmawards.eu
