The crime drama produced by Rabbit Films snagged four statuettes including best drama series at Friday evening’s gala event in Helsinki.

Jani Volanen also scooped best writer and best director for Summer of Sorrow (Munkkivuori), and Laura Birn best supporting actor.

The mystery thriller set during a hot summer in the early 1980s, is a story of revenge with tragic consequences, seen from the perspective of local children.

The series which premiered on the Finnish streaming service Elisa Viihde Viaplay October 16, 2022, is sold worldwide by Keshet International.

Adults (Aikuiser) season 3 produced by Yellow Film & TV for Yle, scooped best comedy series for the second consecutive year, while Anna Airola won best leading actor.

In other categories, Lasten uutiset produced by Helsingin Sanomat for Nelonen won best children’s programme and Yle’s Perjantai-dokkari the docu series of the year.

The lifetime achievement went to journalist and non-fiction writer Helena Petäistö.
