Twenty three senior film and TV executives from the Nordic region are going to discuss the international crave for Nordic film and TV drama at the seminar ‘Drama uden grænser’ held at Schæffergården, Denmark on October 22-23, 2015. The event organised by Dansk-Norsk Samarbejde in collaboration with Nordisk Film & TV Fond and Nordisk Kulturfond is open to everyone interested or working in film and television in the Nordic region.
Five main topics will be discussed: Film & the World, Cultural Exports, Consumer Behaviour, Young Talents, and Nordic Savoir-faire.
Following an introduction by Denmark’s Culture Minister Bertel Haarder, Nordic speakers that will share their knowledge and insight include directors Per Fly, Janus Metz, Dome Karukoski, Fridrik Thor Fridriksson, Jannicke Systad Jacobsen, producers Peter Ålbæk Jensen (Zentropa), Karoline Leth (DR Drama), Synnøve Hørsdal (Maipo), NRK’s Head of Drama Ivar Køhn, the director of the Icelandic Film Centre Laufey Guðjónsdóttir and CEO of Nordisk Film & TV Fond Petri Kemppinen.
