Durring the American Film Market in Los Angeles, Nordisk Film International Sales has sold the Danish thriller Room 205 (Kollegiet) by Martin Barnewitz to Grindstone Entertainment Group for the US.
The deal was brokered by Tine Klint for Nordisk Film and Stan Wertlieb for Grindstone. The US distributor will be working in partnership with horror producer Ghost House Pictures on the release. Ghost House Pictures' recent releases include 30 Days of Night, The Messengers and Boogeyman.
The Martin Barnewitz directed chiller centers on a woman's frightening journey into the occult when she inadvertently unleashes a vengeful spirit. The film will be dubbed into English for the release. In Denmark, the film produced by Nordisk Film sold over 80,000 tickets.
