Iben Hjejle (pictured)  will soon be back in from of the cameras as journalist Dicte Svendsen in Miso Film’s hit crime series Dicte produced for TV2. The second season will start filming in Aarhus in December, with delivery date set for the fall 2014.  With an average audience of over 1.2 million for season one when it premiere on TV2 Danmark last spring, Dicte was one of the commercial pubcaster’s biggest successes in recent years with a rating of 23% and a share if 49%. “We are very happy to have succeeded in green-lighting a new season of Dicte, especially considering that it has only been six months since the first season aired in Scandinavia. The Dicte series in Denmark, Sweden and Norway and internationally has made it possible for us to ensure the necessary funding for the new season,” said producer Peter Bose. The main writers of the first season Dorte W. Høgh and Ida Maria Rydén are involved again and the first four -of- ten- episodes will be directed by Kasper Barfoed. Financing partners contributing to the DKK 67.5 million (€9 million) show include TV4 Sweden, TV2 Norge, SF Film, Vestdanske Filmpulje, and Lumiere in Benelux. ZDF Enterprises is selling Dicte season one at MIPCOM this week.
