The Danish Film Institute has announced the appointment of Steffen Andersen-Møller (photo) as the new Head of the Audience and Marketing Department, in replacement of Anders Geertsen.

The 49 year-old Andersen-Møllen who graduated in management, marketing and journalism, was administrative director for Dansk Reklame Film (2001 to 2006), and also for JP/Politikens Hus and TV2 Reklame. His latest position was as head of project for TV2 Denmark and Viasat’s new Sport channel. He will join the DFI on May 15.

As the DFI Head of Audience and Marketing, he will oversee the marketing and distribution of Danish films, the children and youth division, as well as various audience-oriented activities at the Institute’s Film House.

Other key executives who are part of the DFI management include Dan Nissen, Head of Archive and Cinematheque, Claus Ladegaard, Head of Production and Development, and Dorthe Tauber-Lassen, Head of Administration. The DFI’s CEO is Henrik Bo Nielsen.
