What happens when AI meets the creativity of Norway’s top filmmakers? Watch the AI short film Binary Desires created in Cinema Synthetica Norway.

The AI short film Binary Desires was created in 48 hours by Roar Uthaug, Vanessa Tesorone, and Jonas Aarø as part of the Cinema Synthetica Norway workshop.

Organized by Christian Schüssler and Niklas Røseth from Reimagine in late October 2024, the workshop challenged 12 of Norway's leading filmmakers and creative technologists to create a short film entirely using AI.

All the films were based on a script by Norwegian writer Erlend Loe, who watched and reviewed the four final films during their premiere at the Norwegian AI Conference in Oslo on November 20. CLICK HERE to read full article.

Cinema Synthetica is an international concept, conceived by Todd Terrazas, Max Einhorn and Mike Gioia, which premiered at AI on the Lot 2024 in Los Angeles.

Cinema Synthetica Norway was made possible by Norsk filminstitutt, The Norwegian Film School, Det norske filmakademiet, DAGSLYS, Reimagine AS and Oslo Kreativ AI.
