Further international deals in major territories negotiated by Wild Bunch include Spain and Portugal (AMC), Australia (SBS) and Russia (Yandex).
The anthology series Nudes (10x20’) centres on three different teenagers who, each in his or her own way is plunged deep into a life crisis due to leaked nude photos, and are forced to handle the situation to regain control of their own lives. The series was created by Nina Barbosa Blad, Jørgen Færøy Flasnes, Liv Barbosa Blad and Erika Calmeyer, with the two latter directing as well.
Diana Bartha, Wild Bunch TV’s Head of Sales, said Nudes is part of NRK’s great tradition of commissioning quality youth series such as Skam. “This bold and fresh brand addresses contemporary teen's issues and the pitfalls the social media is hiding for youngsters, while delivering entertainment to cutting edge media players who want to be on the top of the TV game.” The series was launched in Norway at the Haugesund International Film Festival prior to its national premiere late September.
Wild Bunch TV’s MIPCOM slate also comprises the Finnish show comedy The Happy Hour of the Wolf (8x50’) produced by Warner Bros International Television for Yle. The series created by Juha Lankinen and Seija-Liisa Eskola is a provocative exploration of male and female’s different perceptions of separation.
Paris-based Wild Bunch TV’s catalogue also includes the Norwegian drama The Oil Fund and the Finnish youth series DragonSlayer666.
