Greetings from the Fund

Since the year 2000 Nordic Talents has built bridges between upcoming and experienced professionals. This year fifteen exiting projects in truly various forms, styles and genres have been selected for Nordisk Film and TV Fond’s pitch event and competition. The projects will be presented in Copenhagen by eighteen graduation students on the stage of the event’s long-time partner, the National Film School of Denmark.

One of the pillars of the Nordic industry is our strong and continual cultural collaboration. When the international drama series boom came, other countries looked up North to find the best co-operation models. In today’s global industry no region is an island. Currently we all deal with market saturations, the impact of AI and the search for the truly original. Today it is more essential than ever to network, to collaborate and to welcome the fresh voices that ensure the bright future of the Nordic industry. AI will manage to repeat old concepts, but not to create the kind of unique content that will be presented at Nordic Talents 2024.

After the pitches our international jury will select two winning projects and Nordic production companies will introduce their companies to the upcoming and experiences professionals in the room. The producers will also share thoughts on current trends and concerns. Solving things together is the core of the Nordic model.
