The fast-expanding Stockholm-based Nexiko Drama is part of Nexiko Group, set up in 2013 by Lars Beckung, Filip Hammar, Mikael Svensson and Fredrik Wikingsson to deliver entertaining and engaging content with a comedic touch.

CEO and co-founder Lars Beckung said: “We are very thrilled that Teresa has decided to join us. She is just the kind of producer and person we were searching for to expand the team. Teresa will be essential in building and shaping the company going forward, and we are excited to see what projects and creative alliances she will develop over the coming years.“

Alldén said: Nexiko's way of combining commercially accessible projects with social engagement and edge is impressive and completely in line with the projects that excites me. It will be fun to expand together.”

Nexiko Drama has recently claimed top awards at Sweden’s Kristallen TV awards, where its comedy Dough won Best Drama Series and its Netflix teen hit Young Royals, was crowned Best Youth Series and Best Programme of the year.

Fans will soon be able to binge the next season of the coming-of-age romantic drama featuring Edvin Ryding as Prince Wilhelm and his classmates from Hillerska school. Young Royals season 2 is again co-created by Beckung with Lisa Ambjörn and Camilla Holter. It premieres globally on Netflix November 1st.

Meanwhile Nexiko’s other premium series The Big Fix (Spelskandalen) ordered by SVT just premiered on the Swedish public broadcaster, and ranked second of the top shows of the week, after Star Wars-Andor, according to www.kritiker.se

Set in the gambling world, The Big Fix is inspired by true events and people in a notorious scandal that shook Swedish sport's world in the early 90's. The six-part series created by Dennis Magnusson (co-writer of Partisan) stars Eva Melander, Josefin Asplund and Björn Elgerd. REinvent handles sales.
