The multi-talented French actress Isild Le Besco (photo) has joined Paul Dano and Brian Cox on the set of Dagur Kari's The Good Heart, currently shooting in New York.
The 26 year-old actress has twice been nominated for César Awards (Roberto Succo in 2001 and Sade in 2000), and won the Venice Film Festival's Marcello Mastroianni Award for Most Promising Young Actress in The Untouchable (2006). She has played in some 20 French feature films since 1990 including five films with Benoît Jacquot.
The Good Heart is produced by Skuli Fr Malmquist and Thor S Sigurjónsson for Zik Zak Productions, in co-production with France's ex Nihilo, US' Forensic Films and Denmark's Nimbus Film with support from the Danish Film Institute, the Icelandic Film centre, and Nordisk Film & TV Fond.
